We are very pleased to introduce Madi Kyger. Madi has just accepted the position of Southern Regional Youth Coordinator and replaces Krista Heuett who left us to follow a call to be ordained, and is now attending seminary.
Madi comes from beautiful, historic, and charming Carthage, Missouri, where she attends Grace Episcopal Church. She has been involved with the Diocesan Youth since her senior year of high school when she was on the Youth Action Council. Since then, she has remained active by volunteering at Grace with the Junior and Senior High youth, as well as at diocesan events. She served two summers as an intern for the diocesan youth program and helps lead the music at our events. She has an Associate of Arts in General Studies and is currently studying for her Bachelor of Science in Education, for Secondary English Education.
When she’s not doing Youth Ministry she can be found with her nose in a book, crafting, playing guitar, or spending time with her dogs and family. She enjoys traveling, both with the youth from Grace Church and alone. Her most recent adventures were to England, Germany, and Colorado, and she is excited to be headed to Greece and Turkey next summer.
Madi intends to continue help with building the WEMO Youth Community by sharing her love, faith, and passion for Christ and the youth. She is excited about all of the adventures to come.
