MissionPalooza @Home Day 4 Teen Resource Day

Josh Trader One-minute read.   Resources

Today marks day 4 of MissionPalooza @Home! For the last few years, volunteers of MissionPalooza have been serving teens in the Kansas City area through Synergy. Synergy is the only homeless and runaway teen shelter in western Missouri. While Volunteering at Synergy we have helped to prepare rooms for new arrivals, served in their thrift store, and helped to renew their landscaping. Today MissionPalooza @Home will continue to help teens through clothing and toiletry drives.

The Episcopal Youth Community in West Missouri invites you to clean out your closets. Look for clothes and shoes that don’t fit anymore or items you haven’t worn in a while. Please be sure to get permission from your guardian before deciding what to donate. Items should be in good wearable shape with no holes or large stains.  Drop off locations are being finalized and will be announced shortly.

Join others in the WEMO Youth Community Zoom Room, link at www.WEMOYouth.com, every day this week at 9:30 am and 4 pm to check-in and chat about our experiences.

Watch social media all week for updates and other information about the outreach projects for the week. Please share pictures, videos, and thoughts on social media. Feel free to tag @WEMOYouth and use the hashtags #WEMOYouth #dwmo #MissionPalooza.
