St. Mark’s Church in Kimberling City would like to invite you to come celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi on October 4th with a “Blessing of the Animals” service officiated by Mother Anne Cheffey.

The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi is celebrated at churches around the world on this date as an opportunity to show our appreciation to this patron saint of animals. Our pets are an important part of our lives and our families. On Oct. 4th at 5:30 pm, St. Mark’s will honor the feast of St. Francis of Assisi with a pets blessing. This beautiful outdoor service will include music, prayer, praise, and a remembrance of pets who have passed. Then, St. Mark’s will end the service with a personal blessing of each animal.
