Vigil for Peace at St. Paul’s, Kansas City

In light of the events in the Holy Land, St. Paul’s of Kansas City will be having a Vigil for Peace on Wednesday, October 25 at 6:30 p.m. Together as a community, we will light candles, offer prayers and hymns, and raise our hopeful voices in the call for peace in the world.

In the spirit of compassion, St. Paul’s will be collecting contributions for the American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem (AFEDJ), supporting their vital efforts to aid the recently destroyed Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference.

Members of St. Paul’s Adult Choir will be offering Kurt Knecht’s “Prayer for Peace,” which reads, “Nation shall not lift up sword against nation. May it be your will to undo wars and bloodshed from the earth, and spread a great and wondrous peace in the world.”

For those unable to join us in person, St. Paul’s will have a livestream option on their Youtube Channel.

Let us come together as a community, bound by empathy and love, to make a difference.
