Non-parochial or licensed members of our clergy take note

This email was also sent to licensed members of our clergy family to allow them to request to be re-licensed. Episcopal Church Young Adult Service Corps: Application open for 2021-2022 placements

Two-minute read. Applications are now being accepted for 2021-2022 placements with the Young Adult Service Corps (YASC), the international missionary program of The Episcopal Church. YASC offers Episcopalians ages 21-30 the opportunity to follow the Way of Love into deeper relationship with God and the global Anglican Church while spending a year living and working with communities around the world.

Lay Licensed Ministry Licences Expiring in 2021

One-minute read. Every year, some lay licenses expire on March 1st. In 2021, Catechist and Preacher licenses will all expire on March 1st. Anyone holding those licenses will need to submit a renewal application any time after January 1st.

Area Confirmations at St. Philip’s, Joplin Canceled

The Area Confirmation service due to take place on Saturday, August 17 at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Joplin has been canceled. All the candidates due to be confirmed, reaffirmed, or received have elected to travel to an alternate service, or are waiting for next year’s area confirmation services, hoping that physical distancing and attendance limitations will be relaxed by that time.

Grants available for Young Adult and Campus Ministry

Episcopal Evangelism grants available for local and regional efforts
