Kansas City police use violence against constitutional non-violent civil disobedience
Four-minute read. The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department used unconstitutional violence against non-violent persons protesting the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police. The non-violent protesters were engaging in acts of civil disobedience that are protected by the First Amendment. Laws that allow persons to be arrested for constitutional acts of civil disobedience that do not damage property, injure, or kill persons must be repealed.
