Curry said in his Easter 2021 Message, “We will not cease, and we will not give up until this world reflects less our nightmare and more God’s dream where there’s plenty good room for all God’s children. The Bishops of the Episcopal dioceses of Kansas, Western Kansas, Missouri, and West Missouri, in concert with the Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church’s Central States Synod, joined together in an ecumenical service streamed live from Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, Kansas City, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 30 at 10 a.m.

On Holy Tuesday, March 30, Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, Kansas City, Missouri, hosted an interdenominational service to renew baptismal and ordination vows and to bless holy oils. Representing three dioceses of The Episcopal Church were bishops Cathleen Bascom, Bishop of Kansas; Deon Johnson, Bishop of Missouri; and Martin Field, Bishop of West Missouri. They were joined by Susan Candea, Bishop of ELCA’s Central States Synod.
