Southern Deanery picnic! Well, it poured down rain most of the day (rain which people in the south of the diocese need!), but the rain stopped in time for the picnic. It did keep many of the young families who signed up away, but a faithful 90+ people were in attendance on the cool (72 degrees!) overcast afternoon.

Many thanks to Chandler Jackson, the people of St. Matthew’s Ozark, everyone who brought food, and to Rachel Orth, our Diocesan Events Coordinator extraordinaire, and her daughter who did a GREAT job! The grill was perfect, and there was a ton of food and desserts! You can tell from the pictures below that everyone was having a great time! Almost all the congregations were present, which was such a great joy to see!
