December 2022
- The Rev. jean Long was ordained to the Priesthood December 17. She will serve as Associate Rector at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Kansas City.
November 2022
- The Rev. Alfred (Al) Jewson entered into eternal life
- The Rev. Edgar (Ed) Whelan entered into eternal life
October 2022
- The Rev. Collin Larimore was ordained to the Priesthood October 22. He will continue to serve at Grace Episcopal Church in Carthage.
- The Rev. Sherrill Russell retired from active ministry at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Kansas City on October 24.
- The Rev. Larry Allen retired from active ministry at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Independence on October 24.
September 2022
- The Rev. David Lynch retired from active ministry at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Blue Springs September 25.
- The Rev. Doug Johnson was called to serve as Long-Term Supply Clergy at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Blue Springs starting October 1.
- The Rev. Vicky Anderson was ordained to the Vocational Diaconate October 1. She will serve at Trinity Episcopal Church in Independence.
- The Rev. Adam James was ordained to the Vocational Diaconate October 1. He will serve at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Kansas City.
- The Rev. Barbara Wegener was ordained to the Vocational Diaconate October 1. She will serve at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral in Kansas City.
August 2022
- The Rev. Mary Schrom Breese transferred her Letters Dimissory from the Episcopal Diocese of Kansas
- The Rev. Sidney (Sid) Breese transferred his Letters Dimissory from the Episcopal Diocese of Kansas
- The Rev. James (Jim) Pulliam entered into eternal life
- The Rev. Evelyn Hornaday was called as Priest in Charge of St. Michael’s, Independence
July 2022
- The Rev. William (Bill) Beachy entered into eternal life
June 2022
- The Rev. Krista Heuett was called to serve as Curate of All Saints Church, East Lansing (in the Diocese of Michigan).
- The Rev. Jean Long was ordained a transitional deacon at St. Andrew’s, Kansas City, on June 11.
- The Rev. Jos Tharakan transferred his Letters Dimissory to the Diocese of Idaho.
- The Rev. Kent McCall retired from active diaconal ministry at St. Paul’s, Kansas City.
May 2022
- The Rev. Melissa Roberts-George transferred her Letters Dimissory to the Diocese of Colorado.
- The Rev. Jeff Bell retired from active ministry at Grace, Carthage.
- The Rev. Rita Jo Carson Kendagor was ordained a Priest on May 28, at St. Andrew’s, Kansas City, where she has been called as Associate Rector.
January – April 2022
- The Rev. Krista Heuett and the Rev. Collin Larimore were ordained Transitional Deacons on April 2, at Christ Episcopal Church, Springfield
- The Rev. William Jeffry Hurst was called to serve as Priest in Charge at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, Raytown, starting March 1.
- The Rev. Ron Keel was called to be Interim Rector at Christ Episcopal Church, Springfield in February.
- The Rev. David Lynch announced his upcoming retirement (Fall 2022) from the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, Blue Springs.
- The Rev. Joe Pierjok has been called to serve as Priest in Charge at Grace Episcopal Church, Carthage.
- The Rev. Jos Tharakan ended his time as Rector of St. James Episcopal Church, Springfield in preparation for his consecration as Bishop of Idaho.
- The Rev. Collin Larimore has been called to serve as Assistant Priest at Grace Episcopal Church Carthage.
