Friends in Christ,

I write to you today to let you know that Fr. Charles Everson, Rector of St. Mary’s in Kansas City and quarter-time Vocations Missioner for the diocese, has been called as Rector of the Church of the Atonement in Chicago.

While we are happy for Fr. Charles and his husband Jay, we are sad to lose him from the diocese, especially as he has worked tirelessly to revamp the Vocations process for us. Please join me in wishing Fr. Charles and Jay God’s blessing on this new call.

In the next few weeks I will be posting this quarter-time position to replace Fr. Charles on the diocesan staff.
