Bishop Diane plans to attend the Missouri State Fair on Tuesday, August 15th. The day will include the Missouri Farmers Care Food Drive and admission to the fair will be $2 with two cans of food or a $2 donation. Missouri FFA Food Insecurity Day will be observed as more than 700 Future Farmers of America (FFA) members and ag leaders from across Missouri will work side by side to package 160,000 meals to help address food insecurity in our state.

Lunch is planned for 11:30 at The Pork Place, where Calvary Sedalia sexton, John Hawkins is one of the pit masters.

Episcopalians from around the state who have livestock, art, veggies, textiles, or other items on exhibit at the State Fair are encouraged to reach out to Mother Anne Kyle so that Bishop Diane may see the items you have on exhibit, and visit with you.

We will meet at the main ticket gate at 9:30 a.m. to begin our tour of the State Fair. Parking is free and located on the fairgrounds. Enter to park either via the 16th street entrance, found on the north side of the fairgrounds or via the Hwy 65 entrance on the east side of the fairgrounds.
