Clergy Retreat 2022

The clergy of The Diocese of West Missouri will gather again this year for a time of spiritual renewal and growth at Conception Abbey. During this gathering we will spend time in worship, prayer, and fellowship with one another.

Leadership Essentials Session 10 – Advanced Care Planning

Come learn about the why and how of advanced care planning. This session is an opportunity to learn about resources available to guide us and those we minister with in reflecting on and answering questions about the transition to life eternal. We’ll explore ways to have these conversations from a theological/spiritual perspective.

Leadership Essentials Session 9 – Christian Formation

Join Kim Snodgrass, Assistant to the Bishop for Christian Formation, to explore Formation from a fresh perspective, take the opportunity to ask questions and share experiences. This will be a good resource for churches that are wondering how to approach and promote formation from a new direction this fall! 

Pipes at Noon – Organ recitals

Join us for a 30-minute recital at noon every Friday through the month of July. Newly appointed Good Shepherd Music Director, Sam Fleming and other Kansas City area organists will perform the recitals which are free and open to the community.

Prayer Vigil Against Gun Violence

A Prayer Vigil Against Gun Violence will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday June 21, 2022, at Grace and Holy Trinity. All are invited to attend in person or online.

Join the Diocesan Chancellors, Mark Galus and David Powell, for an overview of the Constitution & Canons and a discussion about their practical, legal, and financial implications on your home parish or mission.

Central Deanery Picnic

Please join us for the Central Deanery picnic at St. Annes’s Episcopal Church in Lee’s Summit at noon on Saturday, July 23. The Deanery will provide hotdogs, hamburgers, and condiments, and asks that those attending bring sides and desserts, as each is able.
