Fr. John Coil retired on June 23, 2019. His last service at St. Luke, Excelsior Springs was held on June 16. Fr. John reported that “Our last Sunday together after 17 years was a grand celebration. Full sung Eucharist, Magnificent music with organ, violin, viola, cello, keyboard, tympani, choir. A day to remember, full of love, tears, and hugs. St. Luke’s is a real gem.”
