The Episcopal Youth Community in West Missouri summer events update

Josh Trader Two-minute read.   Resources

Over the past few weeks leaders in the diocese have been keeping a close eye on COVID-19 and how it will potentially affect diocesan youth ministry activities. With the uncertainty of the longevity of the virus and its continued spread, we have made the decision to move all overnight activities to be digital events. Digital events may consist of a combination of Zoom gatherings and self-guided activities. Previously, we announced that MissionPlooza would be a digital retreat on July 20-24. Camp WEMO will now be a Camp WEMO @Home experience on August 3-7 and Happening has been postponed to January 8-10, 2021.

More details on all digital events will be coming out as we near each one. All events will have some suggested activities that you may choose to participate in. Suggested activities will represent many forms; crafts, meditations, cooking, and gathering donations are just some examples of what will be offered. Visit www.WEMOYouth.com to be added to our text or email notification lists to stay updated on all WEMO Youth activities.
