If you’re like me, being a wee bit more intentional bringing words of wellness into my life would be a good thing. Having them dropped right into the inbox makes it easy; taking time to read them requires discipline and a mind turned toward self-care. But say, aren’t both of these good things?

Below are three of favorites that never fail to offer encouragement, insight and are definitely thought provoking.

  • Living Compass – Current and timeless, Weekly Words of Wellness by the Rev. Dr. Scott Stoner covers a new topic each week.
  • Daily Meditation by Richard Rohr –  Each meditation features Richard Rohr and guest authors reflecting on a yearly theme.
  • Forward Day by Day – Just like the familiar small booklets we would normally pick up at church, Forward Day by Day provides inspirational meditations reflecting on a specific Bible passage. The meditations are rich in substance and offer a wide range of witness and experiences. Each month’s meditation is written by a different author.

These three could easily become part of your Rule of Life.
