Conversation is formational. We hear, see, experience new perspectives. Hearts, minds, and ultimately, our souls are transformed and we become God’s beloved community even more fully.

From Many, One: Conversations Across Difference invites Episcopalians and our neighbors to engage in one-to-one listening and sharing across the many differences that separate us. You can get involved in a deeper conversation that starts with what do you love? What have you lost? Where does it hurt? What do you dream?

Echoing the Latin phrase “e Pluribus Unum” — from many, one — and following in the footsteps of Jesus, we trust the spiritual practice of conversation across difference can knit us all into a diverse, more perfect union. It all starts with the four simple questions above.

Sign up here for updates on From Many, One, launching in January 2021. Watch the videos. Invite a partner. Have the conversation. Pray. Join in deeper conversation, learning, and action. Help to form God’s beloved community.

Kim Snodgrass is Assistant to the Bishop for Christian Formation.
