When Bishop Bruce was seated in her cathedra on the feast of the Epiphany, there was no reception for our bishop provisional due to skyrocketing COVID infection rates.
Summer is just around the corner, and it is time, at last, to celebrate. Each deanery is hosting a picnic with Bishop Bruce as the honored guest, celebrating her ministry among us. These picnics will be a time of fellowship for us all — a reminder that we are one church in West Missouri.
- Central Deanery, St. Anne’s, Lee’s Summit. July 23, Noon – 4 p.m.
- Southern Deanery, St Matthew’s, Ozark. July 30, 4 p.m. –
- Northwest-Metro Deanery, Church of the Good Shepherd, Kansas City. 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
