Forma 2023: Called to Covenant

Kim Snodgrass One-minute read.   Resources

West Missouri wants to invest, encourage and develop Spiritual Formation leadership!

In anticipation of several churches being interested in sending one or more representatives to the January Forma Conference and because it is the best place to network, learn and explore a treasure house of resources, five onsite and five online free-to-you registrations have been reserved at the group rate. Adding more would be the best possible “problem” to solve.

“Called to Covenant” will take place on the campus of Virginia Theological Seminary. Four plenaries focused on how we are called through Micah 6:8, to “do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God” will be offered in addition to participants charting their own course each day from a list of workshops and panels.

Three excellent pre-conference workshops are also available: Operationalizing the Baptismal Covenant: From Personal Discipleship to Mutual Ministry; Music That Makes Community Paperless Singing Workshop; and Understanding Suicide Risks, Warning Signs, and Strategies for Prevention.

Formational ministry is for everyone – laity and ordained. Because the number of free registrations is limited, it’s important to know who is interested as soon as possible. Explore the Forma Conference further and reach out to Kim Snodgrass for information on how you and yours can take advantage of the free registrations available by October 30, 2022.

Kim Snodgrass is Assistant to the Bishop for Christian Formation.
