Several Episcopal churches from West Missouri braved the sunshine and heat to participate in the Kansas City Pride 2022 parade on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Among the churches represented were St. Paul’s – Kansas City, St. Mary’s – Kansas City, Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral all from the Northwest-Metro deanery, and Grace Episcopal Church, Chillicothe from the Central Deanery.

Even though Pride Month isn’t even halfway over, let’s take a moment to look back at Episcopalians sharing God’s love, hugs, prayers and tears along the parade route at Kansas City Pride 2022 this past Saturday, (along with beachballs, bracelets, and loads of smiles).

God ~ Our strength and joy, we thank you for the communion of our life together.

Bishop Bruce posted, “LOVE being at KC Pride with members of the diocese — meeting people, giving out free water and cookbooks, great cards and fliers!”
