St. Augustine’s 135th Anniversary (1882-2017)

Five-minute read. On October 22, 2016, Edward L. Warner 3rd Rector of Saint Augustine’s Church spoke at the 135th anniversary of the church. The program included liturgical dancers and Choristers from the William Baker Festival Singers.

St. Augustine’s was established under Bishop Robertson in 1881 as Kansas City’s black congregation. The Rev. Charles E. Cummings was its first priest.
